Saxon Clothing
People wore clothes made from woollen cloth or animal skins. Men wore tunics with tight leggings or trousers wrapped around with strips of cloth or cows leather. Women wore very long dresses. They used a shiny wooden loom to weave thread into cloth. Clothing styles varied from region to region. They put precious jewellery called brooches on to hold up there cloaks.
